Participation in this conceptual architectural project earned us an Honorable Mention in an international competition by Sunroof.SE, a European company that develops built in solar roofs. The challenge was to design a home that integrates solar energy through innovative architecture. Our approach utilized cutting-edge technology, employing an AI-driven genetic algorithm to optimize the slope and orientation of the roof’s built-in solar panels. By analyzing the geolocation of the site, the algorithm determined the ideal configuration to maximize solar energy harvesting throughout the year. This project not only showcased our commitment to sustainable design but also demonstrated the potential of combining technology and architecture to create energy-efficient, forward-thinking homes.
